Would Lebron Be Foolish Enough To Leave The Heat?
Lebron James is a smart enough player to know that his future lies with the Heat, but free agency is definitelly a major concern for alot of Miami fan's. Nobody really knows what Lebron has in mind, after what he did to the Cavs back in 2010. In 2010 Lebron was put into free agency, several teams were interested including the Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, New York Knicks, New Jersey Nets, and Cavaliers. On July 8, he announced on a live ESPN special titled The Decision that he would sign with the Heat. The telecast, broadcast from the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich, Connecticut, raised $2.5 million for the charity and an additional $3.5 million from advertisement. I think it was a bone headed move for him to broadcast his decision, fans from all over especially including Cleveland were furious. I remember people burning his jersey's in the streets off Cleveland, he got a lot of death threats, there was so much hatered towards Lebron. Cleveland fans were hurt but eventally got over it, there starting to rebuild for what they hope to be the return of Lebron James. Personally I believe that Lebron will stay with the Miami Heat, he doesn't want what happend to Cleveland happen to Miami. In his first season in Miami, the Heat reached the Finals but lost to the Mavericks. James won his first championship in 2012 when Miami defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, being named the Finals MVP Award for his outstanding playing. In 2013, he led the Heat on a 27-game winning streak, the second longest in league history. Miami also won their second consecutive title and he repeated as Finals MVP. His career achievements and leadership role he plays for Miami leaves without a doubt that he will stay. Lebron is by far one of the best, if not the best player in the NBA. Lebron has to much going on in Miami, hes on the run for his third NBA championship in a row! Lebron will eventally go to free agency but I do not think that will be anytime soon. If he heads into free agency then he will most likely go back to the Cav's, where he was drafted and raised in Cleveland.
